Clayton Middle School students Riley Leverenz, Ella Bergen, Sylvie Peterson, and Adelia Porter were invited to present their Utah History Day (UHD) project from last year at the Utah History Day on the Hill event. Their project, The Legacy of the Salem Witch Prosecutions, is a documentary about the witch hysteria and trials of 1692 and the changes it brought to our legal system. Their project took them to the national competition in Washington, D.C. in June 2024. Their teacher is Shannon Herbert.

UHD students who presented at UHD on the Hill were recognized by both the House and Senate.
